As I play around with my food and try out simple snacks and dishes from friends, family and the internet, I'll post recipes that are quick, easy and tasty. Try them out and let me know if you like. I'm using organic as much as possible when available and reasonable.
Alternative Water
Fill a glass with water. Pour in about a tablespoon of organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar and add ice. Lemon juice is good, too.
Boosted Juice
Fill glass 2/3 with your favorite juice. Fill remainder with water. Add about a tablespoon of organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Save money on juice and still get full flavor.
Basil Butter Pasta
Cook your favorite pasta noodles. Drain. Place a serving into a small bowl. Add a pat of butter; a spoonful of traditional basil pesto; and salt and pepper to taste. Stir and enjoy.
Add roasted vegetables to create more of a meal.
Spicy Celery
Slice celery into several pieces. Spread roasted red pepper hummus into the channel.
Cool-cumbers
Slice chilled cucumbers. Sprinkle with a litte salt and drizzle with organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
Roasted Veggies
Cut fresh raw vegetables into chunks. Spread onto an oil coated baking sheet. Drizzle with organic olive oil. Add salt and pepper. Use your hands to stir around the vegetables to fully coat. Place in oven, uncovered at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Suggestions: beets; carrots; celery; portabella or white mushrooms; onions; grape tomatoes; red, green and yellow peppers; brocolli; and other veggies you enjoy. Great to eat over pasta.
Chunk Funky Veggies
Chunk up some or all the following organic veggies and eat fresh.

grape or cherry tomatoes
radishes
broccoli florets
